Level 3 Improv Class
Level Three takes all the skills developed in the first two courses and focuses further on the characters you get to play on stage. Through a series of acting exercises that focus on emotions, distinct viewpoints, physical demeanor and vocalization you’ll learn to take on the mannerisms of distinct characters that are less like the person you are off stage. This class ends with a student show in our “Town Hall” format, where members of the class present a Town Hall meeting which introduces the audience to a cast of characters inhabiting the town as it handles a bizarre civic issue. This is the final level required for performers to join the Wednesday Grab Bag cast on stage and become eligible to audition to be a weekly performer.
Each course also comes with a student pass that allows for free admission to Wednesday through Saturday night performances (excluding special shows). One of the best ways to learn improv, is to see improv and we want you to see as much as you like during the duration of your eight-week class.
Upon completion of this course, you’re also able to re-take any of the Level One, Two or Three classes at a discount.
Class Size: 20 Maximum
Duration: 8 weeks (one 3-hour class a week), followed by a graduation show
Requirements: Completed Level 2
